Gea Slotman finds beauty everywhere. In the supermarket, in a beautifully designed sweet. On paving stones, where soft yellow moss grows that goes so wonderfully with the grey. Or when she swims in the sun at her favourite open-air pool, surrounded by shades of blue and green, with swallows and herons flying overhead. What moves her is what she wants to paint.

Gea Slotman vindt overal schoonheid. In de supermarkt, in een mooi vormgegeven snoepje. Op stoeptegels, waar zachtgeel mos groeit dat prachtig matcht met het grijs. Of als ze in de zon zwemt in haar fijne openluchtbad, tussen de blauwe en groene tinten, met zwaluwen en reigers boven haar hoofd. Wat haar raakt, dat wil ze schilderen.
